Shelton Covenant Ministries is a Michigan Ecclesiastical Corporation under the direction of Dr. R. Kenneth Shelton. SCM functions in partnership with Evangel Association of Churches and Ministries and the Church of God (Cleveland, Tennessee), and provides spiritual and ministerial oversight for a wide range of ministries.
Ministry Credentials: SCM is pleased to accept applications for Licensing and Ordination from individuals whom we know or who are referred to us by someone we know. The first step toward becoming a Licensed or Ordained Minister is to contact our office (810-227-9241) and obtain an application and discuss the process. If you are called to God’s work, even if you have been told by other groups that you do not qualify because of a variety of reasons, it is our goal to help you succeed in the work God has called you to do, and not to put roadblocks in your way. The application process is thorough but easy. It helps us establish a relationship with you and allows us to know you and your ministry goals more completely. In addition to ministry credentials, we are able to help you obtain 501c-3 status for your church or ministry through our affiliation with Evangel Association of Churches and Ministries. We are a network of thousands like you who have received God’s call and who have taken that first step of faith, believing God for favor and grace. We anticipate your call and are ready to assist you.
